I grew up with this station. You see my Uncle Edgar Wynsberghe was the Bat. Chief 10 for this station and I followed his footsteps and became a Firefighter at the Detroit Arsenal Fire Department. I started in 1983 and worked till 1999 as an Assistant Fire Chief/EMT and ran SMIRT for Macomb County. Then I worked at the Ford Rouge Fire Department where I became a Rouge Rat with the Fire Department. While I was working I also join the City of Utica for 12 years. I am presently working at the Ann Arbor VA Healthcare working as Fire Safety Technician teaching our employees and our Vets. I sure want to thank my Uncle and his me at E-50, L23, Squad 6 and Bat. 10. When I watch the movie burn it brought memorise to me when I grew up at this station.
